SOCIAL REVITALIZATION

Revitalization activities in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the years 2018-2021 in 18 municipalities. It was one of three partner projects covering revitalization activities in the voivodeship, which together covered the area of 71 municipalities!

These activities were a continuation of joint activities started in 2016 in 18 municipalities from the Special Inclusion Zone. The aim of the projects was to activate socially excluded people and residents of areas designated for revitalization, through joint planning and action, and implementation of independently designed investment projects.

As a result of revitalization activities, under the „Social Revitalization” project, 108 initiatives were created (each worth approximately PLN 15,000).

Municipalities covered by the activities: Brzeżno, Dobra, Świdwin, Rąbino, Węgorzyno, Szczecinek (rural commune), Barwinek, Płoty, Ostrowice, Karnice, Radowo Małe, Drawno, Dobrzany, Grzmiąca, Brojce, Kozielice, Krzęcin, Moryń.

Project activities included:

– selection of at least 6 leaders and 6 groups of residents (at least 5 people each) from each municipality from the areas covered by revitalization, creation of a local consultation point, animation meetings with residents, organization of local and out-of-town training

– out-of-town training – (17 municipalities x at least 8 people) scope: local leadership, team building, dialogue and conflict resolution, environmental diagnosis, social engagement, planning and implementing actions for the common good, project step by step, people management, communication, goal orientation, local opportunities

– local leader training – (17 municipalities x at least 12 people) scope: language of benefits, universal design, sustainable development challenges, resource management, communication, project step by step, diagnosis of potentials and needs, internal communication, project, social animation, promotion of activities

– implementation of revitalization activities, through preparation and financing of 4-6 revitalization initiatives in each municipality, i.e. a total of 108 projects in the period from July 2019 to June 2021, implementation of animation events summarizing each completed project.
