Project entitled „MICRO-GRANTS, LOCAL FIO INITIATIVES in the WEST POMERANIAN VOIVODESHIP 2021-2023” co-financed by the National Institute of Freedom – Center for the Development of Civil Society from the funds of the Government Program Fund for Civic Initiatives NOWEFIO for 2021-2030.
What are micro-grants?
This is financial support of up to PLN 5,000, granted in a tender procedure, for local initiatives implemented by initiative groups and for young NGOs, intended to solve the problems of local communities and strengthen the potential of young non-governmental organizations.
Who can apply for micro-grants?
1. Informal group
Minimum 3 people, jointly implementing or wanting to implement activities in the sphere of public benefit, and not having legal personality;
2. Self-help group
A voluntary team of people whose activities are aimed at overcoming problems and changing the living conditions of its members. If the group does not have legal personality, then support under the project is granted to it on the terms specified for an informal group, while if it operates in the form of a non-governmental organization with legal personality, then if it meets the conditions provided for young NGOs, it may obtain support appropriate for them;
3. Young non-governmental organization
A non-governmental organization or entity mentioned in Art. 3 paragraph 3 of the Act on Public Benefit and Volunteer Activity, entered into the National Court Register or the relevant register no earlier than 60 months from the date of submitting the micro-grant application. In addition, the organization’s annual revenue for the previous financial year cannot exceed PLN 30,000.
