HOSPITABLE REGION
The Foundation was a partner of the Association of Communes and Poviats of Central Pomerania under a project implemented from the funds of the Small Projects Fund Phare 2001 – Cross-Border Cooperation Program Poland-Germany.
Foundation specialists in the field of tourism prepared analyses of the state of tourism in the Central Pomerania region. These were activities based on cooperation with communes associated in the Association of Communes and Poviats of Central Pomerania, economic entities involved in tourism, local organizations and residents of Pomerania. As a result of this activity, the following documents were created:
„Branded Tourist Products of Central Pomerania with the Concept of Networking”
and
„Expert Opinion on the Development of Tourism in Central Pomerania”
The Foundation also participated in the development of a tourism development strategy for Central Pomerania and developed a Polish-German folder „Hospitable Region”, which is a specific promotion of Central Pomerania as a tourist-friendly place. This material was provided to communes, tourist organizations in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and a German partner from the Mecklenburg region. The consequence of the implementation of this project will be the establishment of the Regional Tourist Information Center in 2005.
