We are pleased to announce that on September 1, 2022, we opened the Migrant Support Center, which is located at the Science for the Environment Foundation’s headquarters at 32 Andersa Street in Koszalin and at the Foundation’s field office in Wałcz at 32 Okulickiego Street.

The Migrant Support Center operates as part of a project co-financed from the Labor Fund reserve, selected in the tender „Together We Can Do More – First Edition of the Activation Program for Foreigners for 2022-2023”, announced as part of the Departmental Activation Program for Foreigners for 2022-2025.

The project will be implemented until December 31, 2023, and will cover foreigners legally residing in Poland, living primarily in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. As part of the Center, foreigners will receive comprehensive and multidimensional assistance in the field of professional activation, integration and social activity. In particular, we will provide assistance to people, both adults and children, who came to Poland from Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of that country after February 24, 2022.

As part of the Migrant Support Center, foreigners can count on professional advice in the field of professional activation in the form of:

– career counseling,

– job placement,

– the role of a career development assistant.

As part of integration and social activity, participants will be able to use the following free of charge:

– assistance regarding the legalization of stay and work of foreigners, as well as all procedures related to legal stay and work in Poland,

– adaptation courses,

– psychologist support,

– legal advice,

– document translation,

– Polish language courses with animation classes for children of parents participating in the courses,

– participatory activities for adults and children with elements of socio-financial education,
