The Science for the Environment Foundation has received a grant from the European Union for the project: „Climate Guardians”. We are implementing this project to increase awareness of climate change among residents and educational institutions in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. We aim to present the essence of ongoing environmental changes and the possibilities for actions that prepare us for these changes.
Through a series of interactive and empowering climate education activities, the provision of modern teaching tools, and outreach to 10,000 people with the promotion of pro-environmental attitudes, we seek to make a real impact. Our project involves creating an innovative, interactive exhibition that also serves as a climate-themed game for preschool children and primary school students. Through riddles, challenges, and digital storytelling, we will offer young participants a highly engaging educational experience. This will be our introduction to empowering climate education.
By implementing learning through movement and an interactive educational game, our audience will have the opportunity to recognize the impact of their own behaviors on the nature in their immediate surroundings. Through this project, we promote active learning and the development of pro-ecological attitudes among the younger generation.
As a result of the project, we aim to reach 10,560 individuals with knowledge and materials that teach respect for nature and social needs within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
